Contreras, et al., v. Greyhound Lines, et al. Santa Barbara County Superior Court Case No. 1196946.  Multi-fatality bus accident in Santa Maria, California that involved issues of negligence, corporate impropriety, and wrongful death damages.  The case settled in mediation before trial.  We represented the plaintiffs of the decedent and party injured in the bus accident.  Defense  counsel were Alfred W. Julio Montalvo, Sr., et al., v. Ford Motor Company, et al, Riverside County Superior Court Case No. 230248.  This was a defective product/gas tank design case resulting in multiple burn fatalities resulting from collision with an uninsured drunk driver.  Case settled in mediation before trial.

Camerina Diaz, et al., v. Ford Motor Company, et al., Tulare County Superior Court Case No. 990185776.  This was a product liability defective fuel design resulting in multiple fatalities.  The case resolved in mediation before trial.

Mercedes Diaz Rodriguez, et al., v. Teodoro Gallardo Bermudez, et al., Riverside County Superior Court Case No. CIV 267702.  This was a defective after market product gas cap that failed resulting in a car fire and multiple fatalities.  Collision caused by an uninsured drunk driver.

Rogelio Jacobo, et al., v. Estate of Hilario Solis, et al., Kern County Case No. 239246.  This was a defective tire resulting from negligent maintenance with issues of respondeat superior with employer/farm labor contractor.  "Going and coming rule" defense overcome.  Case resolved in mediation before trial.

Delfino Rodriguez, et al., v. Viajes Durango, et al., San Bernardino Case No. OSCVSS078440.  This was a common carrier single car accident with defective restraint system due to after-market modifications.  This case resolved in mediation before trial.

Rojelino Castro, et al., v. Iglesia de Dios No Sectria, et al., Orange County SCC Case No. 701883.  This was an automobile accident case where van rear door locks failed resulting in ejection from rear doors, alleged defective manufacturer product and component parts resulting in multiple fatalities.

Noelia Cortez, et al., v. Kenneth Fogle, et al. Los Angeles County Superior Court Case No. BC238475.  This was a heavy equipment operation/trucker loading materials at the San Pedro docks and negligent operation of equipment resulting in death of trucker.  This case resolved in mediation before trial.

Olga Lezama Flores, et al., v. Arturo Gonzalez, et al., Kern County Superior Court Case No. S-1500-CV248697.  This was a fatality vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident in an industrial area with primary issues of respondeat superior of underinsured driver.  The case resolved in mediation before trial.

Dario Rodriguez, et al., v. Tognazzini Transport, et al., Santa Barbara County Superior Court Case No., SMI01428.  This was a vehicle-versus-truck accident resulting in permanent quadriplegia victim with issues of premises liability of adjacent landowners.  This case went to jury trial on bifurcated liability issues.  Verdict for plaintiff.  Damages resolved in mediation/private trial.
